Ranch to Table Beef in Texas

Ranch to table at Prime Cuts Texas means there are zero middlemen between our cattle at Allen Ranch in Luling, TX and the beef that arrives at your door. We raise the cattle, we cut the beef, and we ship it direct. No distributors, no cold storage warehouses, no retail markups. The result is fresher beef at a better price with full transparency about where it came from.

The Ranch

Allen Ranch is located in Luling, Texas — a small town about 1.5 hours southeast of Austin and the same distance from Houston. The ranch features open pasture land where our American Wagyu herd grazes freely.

Our herd has grown to over 70 calves and continues to expand. The cattle are American Wagyu — a cross between Japanese Wagyu genetics and American breeds that produces intense marbling in a hardier animal suited to Texas ranch conditions.

We document the ranch regularly on Instagram (@primecutstx, 36.2K followers). You can see the pastures, the cattle, and the daily operations. Transparency is not a marketing word for us — it is how we operate.

The Process

01

Raised on Open Pasture

Our Wagyu cattle graze on open Texas pasture at Allen Ranch in Luling. No feedlots, no confined operations. The environment affects the meat — clean land produces clean beef.

02

Hand-Cut to Order

We don't pre-cut and freeze inventory. When you place an order, your cuts are hand-cut specifically for that order. This means fresher beef and the ability to accommodate custom thickness or cut requests.

03

Shipped in Insulated Packaging

Every order is packed in insulated boxes designed to maintain temperature during transit. We ship to anywhere in the continental United States.

04

Direct to Your Door

No distributor warehouse. No grocery store shelf. No retail markup. The beef goes from our ranch to your kitchen with nothing in between.

Why It Matters

Most beef passes through 3–5 intermediaries between the ranch and your plate: feedlot operators, processing plants, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers. Each adds cost, time, and distance. By the time a conventional steak reaches a grocery store, it may be weeks old and marked up 200–400% from the ranch gate price.

Ranch to table eliminates all of that. You pay for the beef and the shipping — nothing else. And because we cut to order, not to inventory, the product is as fresh as it can possibly be without picking it up from the ranch yourself.
